  6.                                INTRODUCTION:
  7.                                ------------
  8.           The "fun" part of making the door product is ALWAYS the
  9.           completion of the required documentation to explain to
  10.           sysops how to setup your door, register it, bug reports,
  11.           etc..  In this package you will find several types of
  12.           documentation which can be edited by you and included in
  13.           your own door products at no charge and without any further
  14.           permission needed.  Using these will give you a running
  15.           start and make this tedious job much easier to complete.

  19.           A text editor to edit each of the documents to reflect your
  20.           own information.

  24.           Below is a listing of all files for the SYSOP.ZIP Package:

  26.           README.1ST   - The text file you are reading.
  27.           B4UASK.DOC   - Self help checklist provided for sysops to ensure
  28.                           that they have done everything you require in
  29.                           order to run your door on their BBS.
  30.           SYSOP.DOC    - THE most important document in your distribution
  31.                           package! Explains to sysops how to set up and
  32.                           operate your door on their BBS's. Give this a
  33.                           LOT of attention and you will get few requests
  34.                           for help....
  35.           BUGRPT.FRM   - A standard bug report form for use by sysops.
  36.           REGISTER.FRM - Tells sysops how to register your product and the
  37.                           procedures to be followed.

  39.                     Installation and Preparation for Use

  42.          1. Move the archive package to a temporary directory and "unzip".

  44.          2. Use a text editor to edit each of the enclosed documents to
  45.             refelect your name, product, special requirements, etc..
  46.             Bottom line: Edit to suit!
